(If you're reading this in email, come check out the blog to see what I'm talking about.) As of today, the top 10 are:

Bruschetta pizza

One of the things I really liked in the comments was the number of people who were embarrassed to admit they liked the simple things: egg salad, deviled eggs, etc. Well have no fear, I'm going to keep posting things you'll be embarrassed to admit you like. I almost want to do peanut butter and jelly, just to see how many people say, "Oh man, I haven't had one of those in so long ..."

As I mentioned yesterday, I'm offering a free, 10 day mini-course in cooking from scratch.

Whether you're new to from scratch, old-fashioned cooking or a an old pro, you'll be sure to learn something you didn't already know. The mini-course will be delivered to your email and be full of the tips, tricks, and insight your grandmother would give you if she were standing in the kitchen with you.

Registration for the course opens on the 23rd, but if you drop me an email now at basic-course@cooklikeyourgrandmother.com with "Register me for the free mini-course" in the subject line, and your name in the email, I'll be sure to reserve a slot for you!
