Responsibility never needed a permit. It just needs good intentions. Google, has taken this initiative to spread the knowledge of internet across Indian rural areas. Though you may say that this is only going to benefit them. More and more people will be interested in internet subsequently surrendering under the big G. The company is up with a project to educate those internet-illiterate Indians, who do not have access to it. They are educating the people about the multi-facet benefits of Internet. Just a week ago Google started its internet education campaign in India on its Internet Bus.

The Google team is traveling to several towns and cities across India's Tamil Nadu region on the Internet bus. The bus is essentially a customized, Internet enabled vehicle used to roll out the online experience. The Google team is demonstrating the people, how Internet can be a used for the purpose of education, information, communication and entertainment. The contents of the demonstration are made available in both English and Tamil( local language). The people are being taught about the search, email, social networking, online maps and others.

The Google Internet bus started from Chennai where the campaign was initialized. Further it traveled to Vellore, Krishnagiri, Salem, Erode and Pollachi. On Saturday it arrived at Coimbatore. The Internet bus will visit Twelve cities before the efforts are withdrawn in mid-March. Meanwhile you can see the photos, videos and updates of the mission from the project's website.

Essentially, this a part of Google's overall strategy for organizing the world's information and making it universally accessible and useful.
